Factory ones are the best.

Got them here and saved 150 bucks off MSRP. just type in the MOCO part #
I wouldn't even DREAM of taking them off. Open the doors when it gets warm...when cold close them up.
Best mod you can do, IMHO.
Didn't do the speakers....left them as storage compartments.

I got a set at a swap meet last year, Mint condition vented HD lowers in vivid black. I asked the guy about them thinking that I they are going to be priced too high. He said $100, I didnt even think. I just slapped the cash in his hand. They even had the locking glove box doors on them. Im eyeing the boom pods now for them. I love'em never taking them off.

I found a used set on ebay that the lady said were scratched so no one was bidding on them. Picked them up for $300 and when I got them they had very light scratches and after a little wax and polishing Looked like new. They also had the quick detach kit with the magnetic doors. I havent needed my chaps almost all winter, if you call what we have here in Louisiana winter?

I just got a used set of non vented lowers. I love the look, but does anyone else have the problem of the stock turn signal lights hitting the lower fairing? Other than changing the lights to the Kuryakyn driving lights, is there any other option (other than removing the lower fairings? :P)?
