Just curious because I am buying some soon. How do they affect the air coming under the fairing that now hits my shins and blows upward?

They actually help w/this...my jeans don't even flap in the wind anymore when riding...unless we have 30-knot cross-wind...

Ok, I knew they would help my legs, but what about the air that blows upward from underneath and hits my upper body?

Thanks everyone for your comments and opinions. Very much appricated and I'm sure this is going to be my next mod. I have a long trip to Sturgis planned this summer with some buds and I think they will be a very nice addition.

They defiantly help on longer trips and it helps a lot with buffeting if you are experiencing it.

I have vented lowers with boom audio on my SG. Like you I wasn't thrilled about the look but they sound good and I have learned to love em. 40 degrees with warm dry feet whats not to love?
