Yes LSHD1 are legit, I just ordered a set last week. Prices are great there but may take a while to be shipped due to it being a painted part coming from the moco. Hope it comes in a month but the website says 6 to 8 weeks the earliest.

It certainly is. That's where I got mine. Good idea to order everything you need at the same time to save on shipping costs. Some times you may have to wait for the MOCO to paint them, it added about 10 days to get mine factory painted if I remember correctly.

Check out Ronnies Harley, they provide a website that has parts shown via exploded views. You need 8 special screws for the lower fairing speaker and speaker grills. Order from the CVO SG.

I never really cared for the looks but they have been growing on me.
Those that have them what are your thoughts ??
Also found some aftermarket lower vented fairings with speaker pods for $525.00 on ebay. Anyone with any input on these ?? Thanks.
I like the looks. Everyone is different I guess. Love my speakers as well.

Wow LSHD1 must of had my BBP lower fairing's in stock, I just got them today from the big brown truck. It's amazing how a piece of plastic can cost so much. But I am happy and the SG is going to look even better with all that phat BBP up front........thanks Lake Shore.......

I have Fairing Factory lowers on my 99 Road King. Fit great, $425 with both the glove box and speaker pods. I live in Milwaukee and went to the wharehouse and they installed them for free.

I just added lowers to my RK and look forward to seeing how I like them on the road.
I bought the vented HD lowers, but can't seem to get the gap around the cover even all the way around. Are there rubber shims or something used by the factory to get it perfect?

I've been thinking about this addition to my SG and after reading this thread I'm sold.
