Not saying Fuel Moto is a bad Id imagine the results would nearly the same but a 10wk wait is absolutely ridiculous if that is the true wait time.
I'm not interested in your build, I caught all that the first time you posted it. What do think makes the Fullsac pipe better than the FM, 'cause it was in stock?

You will not notice any rideable difference between the FM pipe and the Fullsac pipe......they are both high quality, good flowing exhausts....but 10 weeks wait is a bit much. Depending on where you are it may not matter.....I'm waiting 6 weeks for a seat but it's winter so who cares......

They seem to be a bit different.

From the picture Fullsac seems to have different diameter tubing welded in sections.

The FM pipe seems to be mostly one diameter pipe with bends.

Am I mistaken?

Also- Fullsac seems dark finish. The FM is silver in color. I know there are heat shields, but you do see some of the pipe around the edges of the heat shield.

Because the Fullsac is ceramic coated by default, ceramic coating is optional with Fuelmoto's pipe.

You cant see the pipe behind the shield unless you get right on top of it, and I doubt there's a difference in this regard between Fullsac and Fuelmoto's products.

The only place you can see any of the black is in the reflection in the trans cover. That's OK with me if it helps with the heat.

Ok heres my story, I have had excellent experiences with FM products and services and I will promote them whenever I get a chance. You're right I am the fabricator, and my metalworking experience tells me that the FM materials, construction, workmanship, design, and service is a cut above all others, therefor it is my OPINION that they are worth the wait. Your story is you got a cam, mufflers, intake and a tune, and you want to try and attribute all your 20+ TQ/HP gains to your Fullsac pipe and claim it is a better product.

Just a little off topic. but not much....Can someone tell me what the benefit is to a coated pipe and is this an inside or outside coating? Does it even make a difference with a simple TC 96 basic stage 1 with just pipes an air cleaner, Tuner and stock cams is concerned, or is this more for built cammed engines?

It helps keep the heat in the pipe which apparently helps with scavenging. With fuelmoto's 2-1-2 both inside and out are coated, with fullsac only outside.

Before I ordered mine I talked on the phone with fuelmoto. They told me that the performance wouldn't change, however, the ceramic coating keeps the headpipe cooler and would result in approximately 20% less heat in that area. Well worth the extra money. I ordered the coating and it took a little over a month.
