RE: SE Street Performance pipes anyone?
I dont think they will be too loud for the neighbors. I had the 07 SE pipes without the end pieces and they were tame, a little louder than stock but barked a little when on the throttle. Any of the 07s will be quiter than the older versions because of EPA. Here is a short video of mine before I changed to the older SE versions.
For what it is worth, several dealers told me that the pipes without end caps are usually louder than the two piece units. I don't know the truth to that.

Just had the 2007 SE Touring Slip-ons (2 piece) installed at the dealer on my 07 Road Glide. They are made by SuperTrapp (can get them from fuel moto). They are less than 3dB louder than the stock pipes. It's being stored at the dealer for the winter here so I only heard them in the shop after the install. From what I can tell 2-3dB doesn't sound too much different. They seem to sound just a little louder than stock mufflers. Maybe a little deeper too.

RE: SE Street Performance pipes anyone?
I just got my ride back today. I got the stage 1 kit , Download , and the SE PIPES. It sounds a little louder than stock. more of the "Potato Potato" sound at idle. And way Louder when you accelerate.
I use to have a slow hesistant acceleration and use to hear like "Pinging" sounds. Not Anymore!!!!!! Smooth sailing from here!!
I just got my 5,000 mile service done too. someone told me . the SE PIPES will get louder after 2,000 miles or so.
What pissed me off , was when i picked up my bike and someone leaving the dealership had Rinehart Pipes. Compared to his... mine sounded like STOCK!!![:@]
