I have the EZ pass mouted to the underside of the saddle bag lid. It will even work if you just let it lay loose in there.

NH EZpass told me that it will work in a jacket or vest pocket as long as you have the right side facing outwards. I have not used it other than in my truck.

I also live on the Ma/NH border but bought the one from Ma due to NH security issues. I mounted mine on the inside of the trunk on top with velcro and it works fine.

What security issues?? Also you get a 30% discount in NH using their EZPass.

mine never works on the bike.. it has to be at a certain height and angle to work. I tried keeping it in jacket pockets or shirt pockets.. no go.

I did see a nifty ez pass holder on a gold wing during a pgr mission and want to get one

I live on the MA/NH border so I got my EZpass from NH. They are slightly different from MA, NY, NJ and others. Anyway I mounted mine inside the fairing right under the eagle (see pic). Works every time, every where EZ pass is recognized, no problem.
I tried it inside the lid of my saddlebag, but it would not work from there.

This is exactly where mine is too - works great and no one knows it's there. Thanks for the description of the location (refering to eagle).

Yeah, I am curious about those security issues myself.

On another note, I tried the EZ pass holder and my NH one would not fit into it, but my son's EZ pass issued from NY did. Just be aware that they will work on the EZ pass system but they are not all the same size.

They also have different perks. As Qball states, NH does offer a 30% discount on their tolls if you have an EZ pass issued from them, full price if used in other states. I believe ME offers a discount on their tolls if you buy theirs. My son's EZ pass was issued free from NY. He got his while attending college in the western part of MA and which he used traveling home along the Mass Pike.

I also think that the NH unit has a lower power output, limiting the places that it can be mounted. My bud tried mounting his NH unit in the saddlebag and lower fairing on his SE with no luck. Now he puts it on his windshield.

Yeah, I really love the looks and reaction on the toll takers when they realize that I am not slowing down or stopping to pay the toll. They start yelling for me to stop, saying I can't just ride thru, until I set off the sensor and then I just smile and wave as I go thru, looking at thier dumba$$ expressions. Gotta love it.
