Default Jackpot slash-cut Billet end-caps opinions

Anyone have FuelMotos Jackpot mufflers slash-cut billet endcaps? What do you think about them, are they work $150 for a set?

I have em, probably not worth the $$ but they look cool and finish the pipe nicely. Just get em and enjoy

They really enhance the looks of the pipes and look nice but I don't see them being $150 worth of nice. I'm going to wait and see if they ever go on sale.

The eliptical machining looks pretty tricky to do and may be one reason they are pricey.

I am running the 3.5" with endcaps. Yes, because of the elliptical shape, therefore not cheap, according to FuelMoto.

They really enhance the end of the pipes, I took them off to change baffles, didn't look quite right w/o them after seeing them on.

How do those tips stay in place, I had some billet tips on an older pair of BUBs and there was a screw that went thru the pipe with a small bolt? The pic on FM website doesn't show how it is fastened?

The set screws are in the tip and tighten from the inside against the inner wall of the muffler, no holes in the muffler, just don't overtighten.

I use blue locite on the set screws. Also overtightened the inner ones, putting a small dimple on the inside of the pipes. Don't want them to come loose and bounce off and can't see the dimples anyway.
