Default Bike Accident This Morning

I was in a motorcycle accident this morning. The woman in front of me got cut off by merging traffic and she braked hard. I braked even harder and ended up locking up the rear brakes. I kept the bike up and the rear end behind me, but was not able to keep from hitting her bumper. I high-sided over the handlebars, broke away my windshield, and landed on the concrete in front of my bike. I somehow managed to keep my head from impacting. I am fine. Bumps and bruises and a real sore right wrist. The bike is rideable, but looks like hell.

Default accident this morning

Good to hear you are not hurt, same thing happened to me many years ago and it was quite the wake-up call. Now I give everyone enough room to make their own mistakes and it has saved my skin dozens of times ! Another bad situation is when you are following someone on a four lane and they are exiting off on a ramp then decide to come back on to the highway, in the meantime if you have edged your way up to pass them, they will come right back into you, I learned that the hard way to, just sayin !! "The older I get the longer my tires last" !!!!!

Sorry to hear about the accident but glad to hear you are OK. I would have the bike looked at just to make sure there is no hidden fork damage.
