1 to 1.5. It's hard to imagine a simpler job you'll do to your motor, save perhaps an oil change. Everything is in plain sight, there's about 15 parts total, including clamps and gaskets. Two good items to have in your toolbox are a 1/2" flex head socket and a 1/2" crows foot. You don't even need a jack to do the job, but it does make it easier. Put everything into place, but don't final torque anything until the whole thing is hung. Then start with your exhaust flanges. On the front, you torque the upper flange nut to about 15 inch lbs, then the lower flange nut to 100 inch lbs, then the upper flange bolt to 100 inch lbs. On the rear cylinder, it's a similar sequence, but you reverse it (lower flange bolt first, then the upper, final torque the lower last). The torque specs are from memory, you want to double check with your service manual for actual torque settings.

Finally, you just work towards the rear of the bike, tightening everything to final torque settings. Use anti-seize on the muffler to header joints and blue loctite on the bracket hardware.

Honestly if you have to ask it's one number higher then your ok with.

Maybe a good first wrench job as you can't do to much damage.

1-3 and it's actually fun to do if you like wrenching on your bike.

I see you are putting dresser duals on. I just did this myself for the first time. DONT worry the directions that come with the dresser duals are very good. They take you literally step by step through everything. It will take you a few hours probably but its worth it. Slip on's are about as easy as it comes. Just put some anti-seize on them before and it makes em go on and come off easier.

also just fyi. the dresser duals do NOT come with new head gaskets. You will need to get a new set. I got the screaming eagle gaskets from my dealer. Think they were around $8.

I did the dresser duals, v&h twin slash rounds, V&h vo2 air cleaner and put a FL-Vied to richen it up all at the same time on my 12 ultra. You wanna talk about waking up the beast. One hell of a difference in power and sounds so good.

Good luck and post some pics when your done.

I agree it's about a 2-3 on the scale, but that's given you have a good set of tools and some wrenching knowledge. Go by the manual, during the install, when tightening things up and torquing the exhaust gaskets.
