Dog ate my bag
I have a 99 RK Classic and a while back a mouse got under the cover and my hound dog sniffed it out and then proceeded to eat my Corbin solo seat and gnaw a little on the edge of one of my bag lids. The Corbin seat was old and uncomfortable and I replaced it with a Mustang I like a lot better. But the bag is a different story. It is still like new except for where the dog nibbled on it and I don't want to put out the bucks that one in better shape would cost on ebay. Has anyone ever seen any kind of an edge trim that I could put on to cover the inside edge. I've found several trims for hard bags but none for the leather. If I can't find anything made for it, I'll probably take the bag to a leather shop and see if they can sew a new strip on the edge.

dog and mice eat my bike
Yes I could have. but the dog is a great mouser, and was just doing her job. The mice are costing me a fortune.. They've cost me thousand of dollars for car repairs, harnesses, wires, etc. Until now though they have never messed with the bikes. A couple of days ago I was riding and felt something wet on my leg. Found a piece of my air shock line on my fender and the shock was squirting oil on me.

Get a pest control company in that garage to fix that mouse problem! Inexpensive and effective. You'd be ahead of the game by thousands now. I have one come three times a year and it costs less than $200.00/year. I have a dog too. The pest guys use bait traps he cant get into, the only mice I've seen are dead ones!
