Congrats on your new ride! Road Kings rule. I just picked up a 2010 FLHP I am having some fun winter mod fun with!

Welcome, moved to RK last year. 1700 miles in the first week and one big smile! Bike looks good but shame you didn't look for a private bike, you would have got a better deal! Last year I brought my 2007 RK with 13K miles in mint condition for $11,500, I know I was very lucky.
Load it up:
Or a strip it down, its still a great bike

Thanks everyone. To the one that asked, she has just over 16k on her for mileage and they had to do the 15k service before I could buy her. I couldn't go local since I needed to offload my sportster that had two bald tires, I went from 6400 miles when I bought her to 19990 miles when I traded her in 10 months later. She needed rear brakes as well. Good first bike but not necesasarily a good last one lol.
Handlebar question... I have a set of mini apes from my father in law that he gave me when I gave him my FXR buckhorns last night. Is there any slack inside the RK to accommodate the slightly higher height but not as wide and long bars I currently have installed? Thanks everyone

Yes, probably enough to accommodate any Harley Handle Bar. I installed 10" bars with all existing cables, wires and lines. Others have complained that there is not enough length in the brake line, but we call bullshiot on that....
