Note to self...
When removing fuel tank from a Harley, remember to disconnect fuel supply line from bottom of tank. Failure to do so will result in a cracked fuel injection supply connector and spew gas all over the place. Especially remember to do this when running a kerosene heater in a closed garage. Not that I've ever done this... LOL! Luckily Battlefield HD has the part in stock. Wouldn't be so bad if I had a bike to ride up and back. There goes two hours wasted out of my day. Arghhh!!! Not like this is the first time I've removed the tank.

Luckily from doing it so many times, I knew how to get the quick release off easily and yanked the tank off as fast as possible, still losing a few pints of gas all over the motor and floor, then killed the heater immediately. Definitely an "Oh F@¢K" moment and one I'll laugh about for time to come. Just glad I didn't lose my baby and the wife's Beemer. Good news is the superseded part is all one piece with all metal fittings now. I must not have been the only one to crack the fuel supply connector.
