I have a small single axle enclosed trailer that I picked up on craigslist for $1500.
It really only fits one big bike, any bigger and I would want brakes on it though.
If you want to pull 2 bikes, I would suggest something with brakes.
I also use it to store my lawn tractor in the winter, it's like having a mobile storage
shed, all kinds of uses. Best money spent on an accessory! :-)

I've had several trailers....both enclosed and open...
Enclosed, minimum would be a 7X14, dual axle, electric brakes, torsion suspenion..
Open, again 7x14, dual axle, brakes, torsion, and the ramp that stores under the trailer , aluminum construction....

I have a Aluma MC10 now, only one bike, it's aluminum, about 400 pounds and can haul my SG just fine with wife's MKX.....

If I wanted to haul two bikes, Aluma has trailers for them too.
I like the fact that the ramp stores under the trailer and pulls out for use...no wind drag.

I got a good deal recently on a Kendon dual trailer on Craigs List. Saved $1000 off list and trailer barely used. I will probably only use it a couple times a year, but I like having it when I need it. Stands up in the garage and hardly takes up any room.

I have what you really need! It's not for sale though.

If your going to get a trailer to transport your bike - this is the way to go

http://www.bikersgostrapless.com/

I got one for my 04 FLHTCI and used it in my Wells Cargo - pulled it from Central CA to Ogden, UT - Rock Solid

Now the trailer has sat for almost two years - just about to sell it all,
The moment I do, I will need it - Thats what keeps me from selling it

the mounting system above is the best...

Anyone close to Turlock, CA that want to see it in operation, let me know

7x12 enclosed for me. Leaving Ct. in the snow for Daytona keeps the bike clean and when needed on the road a port-a-potty can be used !! Convenient as 'ell. Also , no decals anywhere to tell whats inside.
