A couple of years ago, I had 4 bikes and kept them stored in 2 trailers. When I sold 2 of the bikes, I also sold one of the trailers (haulmark lowhauler I had custom built), and kept the Wells Cargo. I'm down to 1 bike now, and have already purchased a Wells Cargo 5 x 10. I keep my bike(s) in trailers in the garage, always have. Keeps them from getting accidently bumped, as well as clean. I use condor chocks, ride them in and just get off. No need to tie them down. And the reason I'm down to 1 bike is, I just got flat *** tired of maintaining 4 of em'.

I've been thinking about a enclosed trailer as well, Just to haul one bike. I would use it when I needed to take bike in to be serviced and it was bad weather or too cold to ride, but I would also use it to move inventory back and forth to warehouse, something I can't do in a open trailer or open bed on the truck. I have a landscape trailer, but it isn't the best thing for bad weather use. Is a 5x8 big enough for 1 bike, or is going up to a 6x10 better? If I get one I want a V nose (Better for towing) and a little extra room. What about springs vs Torsion? I see a lot of white trailers, I guess they would be cooler in hot weather.

Break a primary belt 400 miles from home and you'll be glad you had the trailer! Learned from experience. Now I have an open trailer with a lift gate and I trailer my RK to every rally. This past year to Sturgis and back I was wishing I had an enclosed trailer though. It rained quite a bit and my bike was water logged when I got her home. That's when I realized chrome bolts can rust! Either way, a trailer is a smart choice in my opinion. The biggest benefit is being able to haul your stuff.

I have a United 7 x 14 V-Nose tandem axle trailer. Very nice trailer. I stagger them so 1) there not so close together. Gets really tight if both bikes have fairings and 2) if you stagger them, you can equalize the weight much better and control how much weight is on the tongue vs the tandems which is important.

Pro-lite aluminum dual torsion axle.Sidedoor, ramp flap, 12 D rings, 1/4 inch ply wood walls with tie rail, vented, 7x12 v nose. Side by side HF chocks for RG and EG. Ride on with your head ducked down. Carry gear in the v nose and a tougue box to boot. I know it is there behind my 07 Tahoe but I get 14 mpg fully loaded. Costly and way worth it. Cheers!
