Ordered mine the other day and I can't wait! I've been running a 2-1Thunderheader for a while on my SG and wanted to change things up. Did I mention I can't wait? Especially to compare the 2 pipes.
I tried to go through them all, but with 22 pages, and crappy internet, it was a lost cause. Has anyone put these on a 2010 FLHX? The 2-1 system from the factory was never my favorite, and trying to decide which system to go with gets more confusing.
This is my last deployment, and would love to have a new exhaust waiting to be installed when I get home in November. If you've put a set on a SG, or know someone who has, please drop me a line!
I have a set on my 2012 CVO SG and they're great. Didn't necessarily gain as much hp/two as what I expected but they sound great and definitely less heat compared to the stock headpipe.

First of all, thank you for your service and godspeed for returning home soon.
I have the MGS true duals on my 2013 SG and absolutely love them. Their website says that they fit ALL (their caps, not mine) 1995-2014 touring models, so in terms of your 2010, you should have no problem.
FWIW, I went with the chrome end caps on mine and they look awesome. Here's a link to some larger pics of them on my bike - should give you a good sense of what they'd look like on yours.

Thank you Sir! There is just something about the symmetry of dual pipes that looks right. My stock 2-1 always looks, well, wrong. Contact with MGS has been initiated, pipes will hopefully be waiting for me when I get home!

I agree. I know a lot of the guys prefer the 2-1 look (and the performance that comes with it), but it looks unbalanced to my eye. Some, of course, go 2-1 for the performance kick - then add a ghost pipe on the opposite side. In the end, it's your scoot and whatever floats your boat.
Best of luck - and let's see some pics posted of those new pipes in November!
Waiting in the Honolulu airport for my flight to Seattle. Departs at 2155. Arrives at Seatac at 0833. Wife said the new MGS system is waiting in the garage. If all goes well, may have some pics posted this time tomorrow of the new pipes!
