This is what I found, your experience may be different.

I have had both real & fake CFR's & I noticed no difference between the 2.
I now have the MGS TD setup.

The CFR's were on my Road king 88" & I did notice a loss in low end power also talked to the local tuner and he mentioned also found a loss with the CFR's I don't know if he was referring to the real or fake 1's.

I found the CFR's noise exhausting on long rides, around town/shorter rides they sounded wicked.

The MGS are more tame BUT have a nice deep tone that is not obnoxious and sounds like a Harley should (IMHO)@ highway speeds they tone down you can listen to tunes & think, they are not tiring but twist the throttle and you get a nice surprise as they come to life.
A definite power increase & throttle response.

sound clips dont do ANY pipe justice
agree 100%

Colin

Well got my MGS TD set back today from my Indie shop & made time for a 100km run.
First impressions were GREAT, the PC was mapped wonderfully for my bike, in fact my Indie guy said he has not had much luck with these however after testing my bike he was impressed. The bike does glide effortlessly and had lots of power at upper end. The sound is deep at idle, barks nicely when called upon, music friendly when cruising. The quality & finnish were very good & the look is perfect for my bike. I got the black with silver billet ends, thought I ordered Crome, my bad however like the look of the silver that Mike suggested.
The best part of this mod was the customer service. Customs pre-opened the box and scored a pipe with a box cutter, Chris was more that helpful & accommodating with fixing this mishap that was not their fault.
Very happy with the whole MSG expierence.
