Nothing. I have a detachable and use it only a couple of times a year for longer trips. Rest of the time it sits in the house empty.
I like my bike much better without it but it does come in real handy on longer trips.

I typically don’t keep much in there on a permanent basis, except reg/ins card and sun glasses. The tools, air pump, etc. are kept in the sides. I use the trunk basically for extra crap like the helmet/ gloves when not in us.
That's about as exciting as it gets in my trunk.

Junk here too! Need to clean that thing out as its getting top heavy. Not sure what all is in there but know I have hats, head rag, light jacket, towels, detailer, yes a gun or two, spare light, tire gauge, ear buds and sometimes an extra helment.

I keep my helmet in there when not riding or stopped, about 4 pair of gloves, 2 pair of glasses, a face and neck warmer thingy and a can of cleaner.

I've been thinking about taking it off for a while but man that thing comes in handy.

Two pairs of gloves - heavy ones for morning riding, lighter ones for afternoon (this IS AZ), two pair of glasses - clear and dark, my balaclava for early morning rides to work. Oh, and when I am going to/from work, my backpack with my laptop in it.
