Default Can I do this myself

ive got an 05 RKC. Im gonnaget the 33 in. Samson Longtails and the Power Commander 3. Can I install the stuff myself or do I need a reputable mechanic to install the tuner. Does it replace the stock computer or work with it. I heard it was basically plug and play after it was programmed.

You can do it. Iirc there is a YouTube video on the install. Not sure if it was this forum or a different one but I watched it.
If I was on a computer I could go back and find it and post links but I am limited to my iPhone.
Try google. It will have to show up.

get the power commander from fuelmoto it will be preprogramed and just [plugg it in,any problems and 1 phone call and fuelmoto will work it out,the pipes on the other hand are theoretically simple, but always seam to kick your ars.

As already mentioned, get everything from Fuel Moto and you'll get a package deal and a correct map for the PC. Also, consider spending another few $$ for the PCV, as it will fit your '05 and has more features, including the ability to add Auto-Tune if you want to go that route in the future.

Both have really good instructions.
Patience (and a beer or two) helps.
