On my 08 RKC, I've had mine apart several times and haven't needed a new O ring yet. Checked for dirt that might be keeping things from sealing?

Can you get the thread pitch and OD of the outside of the threads. Didnt know it was metric but the book has metric, SAE, and british imperial.

What is the year and model is your sled? Here is a good site for break downs, part #'s, and prices:http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....dmc&A=544&B=42

Go to a auto parts store or sears and pick up a SAE/metric pitch gauge.
