Cool ! Then you could just twist your leg to point the light where you want, when you want!

I have the HD headlamp, auxiliary lights, turn signal, they all work great. They light up the night, and are very effective during the day. i can see street signs light up during the day.

C50, What color was the light? was it on the blue or cool side? I have been doing a lot of research on lighting before deciding to go with the HID on my RG (since they dont make the small lights yet).
I have been told that when there is more blue in the light it neutralizes the color balance in the human eye and will cause greater eye fatigue. I have always had 20/20 vision and perfect depth perception, but as I am 58 now it is getting harder to see as sharp, even though they tested me still at 20/20.
I have chosen to go with a 5k on the kelvin scale, we will see how it looks after I install them.

The HD LED headlight and passing lamps are the cats pajamas IMHO! I think the secret is to adjust the passing lamps to be slightly "down". Also, for those that don't want to mess with a jumper wire to run passing lamps with the high beam..... there's this new HD plug and play harness..

Thanks to Dawg for the info.

Is there any way to adjust the depth of the emitter in the reflector? Sort of like a MagLite going from spot to flood.

This has been posted many a time, however, use your own judgement...

Also, to the OP, kinda have to have the aux led lights in tandem with the headlight to fill in the blanks spot in front, almost like HD forces you to use both...no big deal to me, I like the look a lot. Plus, as someone else mentioned, prior to, I added motolights which may be the best thing I've added to the bike. Now that I have HD LED's, I'll have to go LED with the motolights for the color temperature to match. LED on every light for me here.

Same experience here, the led really throws out a huge swathe of light in front of the bike. Adding the LED passing lamps makes it even brighter.
