Anyone ever used a Landing Gear (legup)?

I bought the leg up system for a road king. Pete makes a great product, I love it. I don’t use it for every stop I make but do use it in a tight situation like gas station and parking lots. It has allowed me to continue riding with peace of mind that I won’t drop the bike. Still gives you the leaning the bike not like a trike.
Great product! And Pete’s a perfectionist with his product.

Doodle on a Motorcycle (YouTube) is only 5’0” tall. She started on sport bikes, practiced and trained to develope skills. Went twice to Florida and trained with Jerry P., Ride Like A Pro. Now rides Road Glides, Street Glides and Road Kings. I think training and skill can be more effective than crutches. Don Tilley from Tilley’s HD was only about 5’6” and rode a Limited into his 70’s.
Hope your friend works it out.

Have installed these on my bike. I am 76 and came down with MG which reduced my leg strength. I wanted to keep riding, did not want a trike, so I have given them a try. I have been riding for about 60 years. Lucky for me my myasthenia gravis has gone away, and my strength is back. However I have left them on. I only put them down when stopped for a while like at a long light, but not every light or stop sign. I raise them before I take off. They work well, for pulling into or out of my garage, or tight parking spots, so no duck walking with these.
Hope this helps.
PS I still practice slow speed skills like u turns, figure 8s etc. following Jerry Paladino
