Yeah, don't just give in. I don't suggest going in there raisen mortal hell, just be cool and talk to them. Especially if it's the dealer you bought the bike from. I was honest, and didn't let on I knew that there was a problem with other bikes. I did tell him it was to the point in the roaring and kinda jerking around when going into corners tho. And it was! The wife finally told me she would not get on it anymore till I did something about it. She make the payments, so I did. Hell, All I am doing is driving Miss Daisy really. She pays for it, and the trips we go on..LMAO...Who cares!!!!!!! I get to drive!!!
Oh yeah, I not gonna raise hell...the dealer I bought this bike from has been really, really good. So far they have treated me very well. My engine started rattling bad about 5000 miles and they swapped it out with a new one with the correct VIN numbers on it in 8 days. When they decided they needed to keep the bike and do the work, the service manager offered his bike to me to get back home 245 miles away. I did not take it and the owner came out and offered me his 12 road glide ultra with all the bells and whistles you could imagine to get back home on. I called a buddy to come get me cause I was afraid something would happen to them. They even paid for the 1000 mile service on the new engine since I had already paid for the 1000 mile service on the old engine.
I could not ask for a better dealer. Plus I feel like I got a hell of deal on the bike at purchase. I get 15% off all parts and accessories. I call them on the phone, tell them what piece of chrome I want and they ship it tax fee and no shipping with 15% off. (I live in a different state than the dealer)
They call all the time just to check on the me and make sure I am still happy with the bike.
In reality...if they do not replace the tire...I could not complain. I want a set of black walls on it anyway.
That is a lot more than I can say about most of the dealerships I have walked into... Most seem they are doing you a favor by taking your money for a bike, these guys want to earn your business. They still know the meaning of a customer supplier relationship. Everyone who walks in their door is a potiential customer...they want your business.
Thanks for the info. I appreciate all you guys input on this issue.

So far at 7,000 miles on my RKC I'm not getting cupping but both tires roar pretty loudly while leaned over in a corner. I know some of the BMW guys take a belt sander with 50 grit and knock off the edges to restore the original shape of the tires. I started a thread about it here and took a lot of flak from folks who said it was the dumbest idea ever but I think it would work. They actually do it with the tire/wheel on the bike and hold the belt sander diagonally so the tire spins moderately as you're sanding. Kind of like wood turning on a lathe.
To the OP, you might have an out-of-round wheel. I think once the tire starts cupping it sort of gains momentum. The small cups get the tire moving in a way that makes it cup even worse and the tire gets ruined in no time.

Tire noise when leaning
Great! at 9500 on a 2012 Limited and I am hearing the roaring noise as well. The cupping is not too sever yet but I am heading for Key West on Friday. We don't have many sharp curves here in Florida. I am going to call HD and see what they say. First bike that has had this problem. But my last metric bike had a car tire on it and I traded it with 20,000 miles and the tire still looked new. Not trying that on the Harley, just not right. I was convenced to do it on the metric bike when I saw a video showing the bike scraping the pegs/boards and the tire was not even close to the sidewall.
