Comfort. If I wanted to go real fast I would have just kept my sport touring bike. It's a Harley so it has to look cool too.

I'm the riding type of Harley guy, so I'll just be washing and riding mine. Money thrown at looks and speed, is money thrown away, and the stock bike is plenty fast and comfortable for me.

Reliability is my number one concern, looks come in second. After that I may go for more power as long as it doesn't compromise the reliability. I got a touring bike to tour.

Comfort first, but all comfort items I install tend to enhance the bike cometically as well.

Performance which improves comfort, reliability, and fun factor while maintaining a touring function.

Cosmetic comes in 3rd; however I have to admit my projects usually include a little of each area.

Example my next major project will be a suspesion upgrade for front and rear.. Ohlins in back and not sure about the front fork cartridges yet, but they will get chrome lowers for sure.

Comfort and function - don't go fast and don't care about looks. It's all about reliability and my comfort. I am fascinated by rat bikes actually but the wife would never ride with me again. Hmmm, maybe that's not a bad thing

Comfort and reliablity first. Looks come in close second or maybe a good combination between the two, then performance, what little I do with the performance maybe kina fits into looks also, ie exhaust, stage one air intake, ect.
Going fast in a straight line is ok, but for me it is the corners! This bike is not really my idea of real heavy cornering bike. For this, ill take a Ducati or ...
