I would have to agree with redhwk44 here. we do not know each other but I was at the sales counter when the conversation took place, there was an "attitude" from the salesperson behind the counter that bordered on rude.However everyone can have a "bad " day and maybe there were unknown circumstances that contributed to the salespersons demeanor. The dealership in question has a beautiful store in a great location, but seems only wanting to cater to locals. On the other hand there is another dealer 60 miles to the west that will bend over backwards to every customer that walks in the door. These folks quarterly have 20% off sales on in stock items and with a toys for tots contribution two weeks ago increased the discount to 30% Guess where I did the majority of my Christmas shopping?

 

man am I glad I read your post, heading to Mikes Famous today to buy a couple T shirts as Christmas presents... taking my HOG card with me!

 

They have a dealership in Loma Linda/Redlands too. I have purchased alot of stuff from them. My wife is in pretty good with one of the sales girls in motorclothes and she calls us when they are having a sale. I picked up a FXRG leather armored jacket for $229.00 during one of there sales. I also use Chicago HD and Zanttoli's for bigger purchases.

 

I haven't read this entire thread, but I get a 10% 'discount' from my dealer for as long as I own my Street Glide. The trouble is, I found that in many cases my indy mechanic sells the same parts cheaper than the dealer even after the their 'discount'.
