got some options now. Have to look for a Daytona dealer so I can see what it looks like on the gourd. Don't want it to look like a beachball on my head.

Most of the 1/2 helmets that are DOT sticked are the mushrooms now. Several mfg's still make the small 1/2 helmets, but not stickered, ie, Skull Crush.

I have a fairly good melon, my ex was the pin head. I rode forever, he was the newby.
I've never seen ANYBODY in my life time of riding get hit in the head so many times by birds. Is it a game of pin ball with birds? I was impressed he could stay on board with the last one... feathers to prove it...aaahhh karma is a biotch...

I have a HJC IS 2 Schrade and it fits really good plus the hidden face shield comes in handy if it rains http://images.motorcycle-superstore....ade-Helmet.jpg

I found my Daytona Carbon fiber half helmet at Bergen Harley. They are super light weight but only problem I have with it gets a little itchy after a while so I usually wear a bandana with it. Still best fitting half helmet out there imo.

Do like I did. Shave your head and the itch goes away.

Little info on Bell helmets. I recently bought a new half helmet Bell, because that's all I ever raced with. The Bell helmets outer shell size is not the same for every size. Meaning the med I wear has a smaller shell than a large. Also depending on brand a large in one brand may be a med on a Bell. Many other brands use the same shell only changing the padding to meet the size. I do have two HJC helmets but, again they are bigger than my Bell Helmets. Love my Bell helmets and yea, I have have crashed a few times on the tracks with them and they saved my bacon many a time. Good luck on your search.

I too have a hard time finding helmets that fit well. I have a CL-21 1/2 helmet in a XXL and a CL-12 full face in a XXXL from HJC. Both have worked well for my 7 7/8 big head.
