Need some part number help
I have a 2000 Ultra Classic and want to covert over to a solo mount for my tour pak.
So far found the mount HD part number 53260-02. When I look up the matching docking hardware 53803-06 all the instructions state not for FLHTCUI. Is this because of the wiring of the rear speakers and lighting?
If so, the lighting is easy to unplug and I already have a inside the faring antenna for the radio and CB. I just want to be able to pull the tour pak off.
Thanks

No rear amp, I've pulled the tour pak off once just to get to the fender & clean it all up. The CVO's run a amp under the tour pak. thanks

my concern with the audio would be running with out a load on the amp for the rear speakers ( the volume/fade controls are in the preamp section- the power amp runs full out all the time- and may need to see a load- that would be a question for the manufacturer- it that still the Radio Sound stereo-?)

sounds ( pun) like you about have it figured out.
here's what I did:
i used the flat 4 trailer plugs because they are durable and weather proof.
a kit from autozone had the plug set with 4' wire on one end, about 2' on the other
splicing in under the seat, the wiring runs to under the left side cover, then along the frame the the rear shock. the upper part of the shock is wrapped with velcro, and when unused the trailer plug is stuck to the velcro.
( the trailer plug also has leds, which is handy)
the other end is tied into the lighting in the tour pak.
when the plugs are connected a patch of velcro on the inside of the toupak mount holds then from flying around
on my 09 the colour code is blk/ground, blue/run, red/brake.
the trailer plug wiring I covered in black heat shrink tubing
I use the 4th conductor fused from the battery and that feeds 12 v aux outlets and usb out lets in the tour pak for charging stuff- I went off the battery so I still have power for a light or what ever when camping and the bike is off.
