Default Need opinions on my next mod:

I have several parts going on right now. I have a Screamin' Eagle rear taillight set about to be painted that I am going to put on, also a new set of speakers, IPod interface kit, and inside the fairing antenna, plus I bought a set of the mirrors with the LED turn signals built in.

Here's the question....I just got the fairing painted not long ago (in know, should have done most of this at the same time, but didn't, lol), and they were supposed to paint the stock mirrors at the same time. When they forgot, I told them just wait and I'll get the LED mirrors and have them paint those instead.

What do you guys think? The mirrors come chrome, but I think painting them Sedona Orange like the rest of the fairing would make them look a little more custom....so, to paint or not to paint?

Also a set of new bars with chrome controls going on soon......

Before painting the new chrome housings I would paint one of the stock mirrors and see if i liked it first, sure would be a shame to paint over the chrome and then not like it, not that I've ever done anything like that!....LOL

have them paint the stock ones. and while there at it do the oil cooler cover and grabs some mid frame air deflectors also. can never have to much paint! especially Sedona Orange

I made a mistake painting my mirrors - remember you have to leave quite a large area unpainted where all the adjustment movement is...

Take that in to consideration when considering black vs chrome and painted vs unpainted

Mods all look good. I would go with the chrome mirrors per sgdiesel and save the paint for the oil cooler cover per piesik650... I'm sure it will look great either way...

I'm for the chrome especially since your doing chrome controls, the chrome/orange contrast will be nice.
