Default Removing Rotor from Inner Primary

Does anyone have any tips on removing the Rotor from the Inner Primary on a 103"? I am in the process of swapping out my engine for a 120r and I can only get the rotor to the end of the spline before it hits the inner primary.

Only way to get it out without removing inner primary is to grind that lip from about 5 o'clock to about 10 o'clock. Many, including myself, have been faced with this when upgrading the compensator. Doesn't take long and in no way harms the casing.

+1 on the grinding. its very easy and like stated before, it wont harm the case. definately beats pulling the primary off

I love the paint on your limited. In 11 they reversed it.

Not many people are reading your post thoroughly. If you are pulling the engine, then obviously your primary has to come off. The rotor does not come off at all until the inner primary is completely removed, then you can slide the rotor right off. Make sure after you get your new engine mounted up, slide that rotor back on before you start installing the inner primary.

You DO NOT need to grind on your primary.

Yes but if for any reason in the future he has to get to his stator he will wish he had ground it!
