What is the easiest and most cost effective way to re-map an 04 RKC?

I have upgraded slip on's and have a post on here about intakes and thinking I am going to upgrade that too if it already hasn't been done. I do understand that if you have new pipes and intake you need to re-map.

I'm just not sure what exactly that means or how you go about doing it.
