Default My Inner Fairing Install and What I learned

Finished installing my factory painted (scarlet red) inner fairing and cap today and here is what I learned:

1. Don't forget to take the rubber seals for the Speedo & Tach out of the older fairing. They will not mount with a snug fit without them ( learned from forum members here).

2. No matter how well you clean your bike, bugs find the stranges places to give their lives.

3. I lost my cigarette lighter somewhere (I guess it popped out).

4. Though time consuming the first time, it really is not bad at all. (I started using the step by step found on here but found the manual to be better for me).

5. It is real nice not paying the dealer the $380 for labor they charge to do this.

6. Finally as many have said on this forum, these things may the bike look good! See the before in my sig. and the after photos.

Well done. I really like that color, huge visual difference. It's gotta feel very rewarding as well.

Well done, Blue Duck! You saved $380.00, have installed one of the best mods available, and got some quality time with your bike getting to know her a little better!

Looks great, man!
