Default Is there a Tour Pak cover?

Had a thought that somebody MUST make a cover for Road King Classic Tour Paks. something like 20"x20"x14" maybe? a backpack waterproof cover would be ideal but they're rectangular. anyone ever see something like this??

Interesting thought. Why do you want one? In 20 years of tourpak ownership mine has always been watertight, both when riding and parked in pouring rain.

I've ridden in various degrees of rain, too. Never had a problem with contents. Just that if I could keep the water off the pak and even the bags it would be nice. With my 2000 I would keep everything conditioned and it shed water pretty well. It kind of polished up the leather though.

I think he is talking about the leather covered tour pac. Not sure how water proof they are.

I was thinking about this also. I would like to have a "dust" cover for mine for when it is stored off the bike. Maybe that is also what OP was referring to.

I have the leather tour pack. The contents stay dry in rain, but the leather looks pretty sad until it drys out.

We have a Kuryakyn Gantour bag that we use on my wifes bike whe we travel. It came with a rain cover. My guess is its about the same size as the leather tourpac. They also make a grantailgator bag that is larger, and it most likely has a rain cover as well.

Contact kurry and ask if you can buy a replacement rain cover. one of these should fit whatever you are wanting to cover, wether its a regular hard painted or leather roadking pac.
