Default Craftsman Red Jack

Is the Craftsman Red jack rated high enough to lift a dresser (Street Glide)? I've had the red Craftsman for many years for use on Dyna's and Softails. However, I have never used it on my Street Glide. I need to remove the front wheel so that I can install a new front fender and want to be sure I don't end up with more than a front fender issue in the end. I do intend to buy a J&S or Pitbull but its just not in the cards at this moment. Thanks

I have a Street Glide and use the Craftsman red jack all the time. No issues here.

I have one and it'll lift it fine. The problem I have is that I need to put the bike up on two by fours in order to get the jack under it.

I have the red Craftsman and no issues so far. To allow room in my garage I store my Street Glide on it.

Great Thanks. I just remember Softails being a little wobbly on the jack so I figured the Street Glide would be even worse? Shouldn't be on the lift for long.

$20k bike, 10 cent jack. I've never understood the logic.

A lot of guys have them, but I'd never put my bike on one.

Pitbull all the way. Mine is up on it during most of the winter when I'm not riding it. Never give it a second thought.

I have one and use it all the time. That being said I'm not sure I would use to do take a wheel off (unless there was some way to block up the rear tire).
It is a little wabally for me to do to much with it.

I've got the yellow one from Sears and use it on my Ultra. 5 months out of the year, it's
on it for winter storage.

To answer your question, yes I used a sears red jack to lift my Ultra all the time. Not real steady but will do it.

Now after my killer find on a used PitBull I will say look around first before buying the Sears.
