Default Gerbing Gear and Rain

Going crazy here in Ky with the colder weather. Went out for a ride today, low 40's, but warm with my Gerbing Setup. Question I have is this; I have to go to Nashville this week for work and was thinking of taking the bike. I am comfortable riding in 30 degrees but always question myself on what I'd do if it rains. Anyone know if the Gerbing gear is okay in rain. Spent too much on it to mess it up with rain on the wires, etc. Appreciate the responses.

I've (unfortunately) slogged through thousands of miles in the rain with Gerbings gear over 10+ years. The only precaution I take is tucking the controller in a pocket or someplace it won't get soaked. Never had a problem.

Thanks for the response. I guess my concern was having to put my rain suit over the Gerbing Gear. I'm getting tired just thinking about it. LOL

Gerbings is made for bad weather, just protect the controller...pocket works for me.
Now, we're talking about the liners or Union Ridge outer gerbings.
The liners are made to wear under a jacket, the Union Ridge Jacket and Pants go on the outside and are water resitant....

I started with liners but ended up going to the outer jacket and pants. Seems that it's less constrictive. I guess I could have looked at their website but you never really know what the "real" answer is. Love their gear and allows me to ride all season. Wasn't sure about rain now that I'm looking to take some longer trips this winter.
