It's a good price if it's the make, model, and color bike that you want, don't matter what me or anybody else thinks !

You won't get a 2 year warranty with any other used bike and the tour pac is a grand, and you have to wait three months for it. It was the owners bike and it was not abused so all in all it's not a bad deal.

For comparison I bought a mint condition 2010 RG (ABS, cruise, security) and $7,000 of extras including tour pack for $16,000. Oh, and it had 6,006 miles.

There's lots of dreamers on Craigslist.
Also, why not ask them , how did the bike get 6,000 miles without it being titled. Was it a demo, rental, boss's ride, what?
Your the buyer, let them satisfy yur curiosity.

I don't care what a price is on a bike someone on here always says its to much or they got a better deal. Just because someone happened to beat the repo truck on one bike does not set value precedent. I especially like the ones that say you can get them for xxxxx all day long around here but when you ask them about some real world examples you don't hear a peep out of them. I have decided that asking about bike prices on this forum is useless as you will never get an answer that applies to you and your area and the particular bike you are asking about. In other words, results may vary.

+1 on this answer. Way hard to tell. Ask a few more questions and see if they will take a little less and you may get a good bike.

My experience has been pretty different. I found it very helpful to learn what others got their used and new bikes for. That info, along with completed auctions on ebay helped me understand pretty clearly where the market was at.

the only thing i'll add to the confusion is that i have noticed regional differences in prices and dealer wiggle room. in southern ca the prices will generally be higher to begin with and wiggle room, not so much. and i just went thru the exercise of buying new or used and decided for the extra 2-3k and a bigger motor to go new.
