Being a newb, I haven't figured out how to attach a pic to my message but if you click on my user name there is a pic of my 09 SG in Pewter Pearl. May give you another reference point.
Another question is, With Brilliant Silver only being made for one year, was it just not a popular color? Will that make getting things painted from the factory even more expensive? Any other side effects to having a color that was only produced for 1 yr?

My 2011 RKC is Brilliant Silver. I've been looking into buying hardbags for my bike and so far I've found the following models that have been Brilliant Silver.
2011 Road King Classic
2011 Electra Glide Classic
2011 Road Glide Ultra
2010 Street Glide
There don't seem to be Brilliant Silver saddlebags available for the 2010 Street Glide, but there seem to be saddlebags available in Brilliant Silver for an FLHX/I which I think has to be 2006, but I can't confirm that either the 2006 FLHX/I or 2007 FLHX were available in that color.
Anyway, Brilliant Silver shouldn't be a color that HD quits painting for a while.
harley changes up colors all the time so no big deal if it was only used for a couple of years, you will always be able to get the color matched. Besides I think having a color that is a little less common is a good thing. I guess the one draw back to brilliant silver is that if you are parked in the bright sunlight you might get sued for buring out someones retinas if they look directly at it without eye protection LOL.
