Default Newer seat on older bike ?

Is it possible, without too much fabricating to make a 2006 Street Glide seat work on a 1992 Ultra? I have removed all the tour pack hardware.

It would take quite a bit of modification to the seat. You're better off finding a used seat from an early 90s/late 80s bike and getting it cheap and rebuilt by a good upholstery guy. You'll probably spend less money and end up with a better custom seat. I tried to figure this out a while back because I wanted a two piece seat. I ended up finding one from an early 90s road king. It was actually in really good shape so I haven't had it redone yet. But I got it for about $75 for both pieces at a swap meet.
