While your on ebay search for o ring cruise control its a particular size o ring you slide over the throttle grip. Just roll it down the grip and it will rest in the groove between the grip and the controls. Just roll it back to "turn it off". Its tight enough to hold but not so tight you cant turn the throttle against it in a hurry if ya need to. I used one on my 90 tourglide. Cheap and works. Just need to find one that is right for your grips. You can google the same thing and gets lots of info.
While not a perfect solution, maybe just to hold you over until you find the module. Heres a picture of mine from my old bike.

I put one of these on my RK. (http://throttlelocklever.com/) I was thinking about the cruise for about $250, or these for a 10th of the price... I think I was able to find mine even cheaper at another online site... do a search.
Anyway, for as much or as little as I would actually use cruise control, this works great. It facilitates turning the little star dial under your grip (which serves as a throttle lock) with an easy flick of your thumb, and little thumb travel to set it. It's not cruise control, but will keep your throttle in position for as long as you want to rest your hand on or off the grip. It makes it easy to adjust just enough to keep pressure on the throttle but still be able to adjust while the throttle lock dial is still activated. Way easier than try to work with just the star dial (almost useless by itself), and works great.

[QUOTE=wcsj55@yahoo.com;9298470]My 2001 FLHT had a throttle lock that worked "ok" if all you wanted was to give your throttle hand a break, but it was definitely not the same as cruise control. Mine had a plastic star-shaped lock below the throttle that you could tighten/loosen reasonably well with your bare thumb, but didn't work too well if you had gloves on.
