I had been following the shipment of these Exhaust Tips which were on back order since the first of December. Their site stated the package was out for delivery Saturday morning, so I waited for the delivery all day. By 6:00pm I figured I would have the delivery on Monday.
Got ready to go to bed last night a little after 11PM and the Doberman and Bull Mastiff started raising hell, looked out the window and it was the Fed EX deliveryman. I asked if they normmally worked this late and he said no, but his truck had broke down earlier the day and he was not going to stop for the day until he finished his route. I am impressed with his determination to complete the deliveries.
Here is a pic of one tip installed to see the difference between the black and chrome. I like the chrome, I am planning on highlighting the lettering with black paint for a little contrast.
Anyone need the black tips they are for sale on the classified section in excellent condition.

 

That's awesome about the delivery, that says a lot about the drivers character. Tips look great.

I think your idea of highlighting "Rinehart" is a good one. That's been my one drawback with these chrome tips...."Rinehart" just seems to blend in too much.

I think the chrome tips look WAY better than the black tips. And they won't turn purple.

 

Now that's dedication on the FEDEX delivery guy behalf. The Chrome do look a lot better than the Black.
