Reaflections on installing truck-lite LED headlight and passing lamps

i have the visors on both my Headlight and passing lights. I have to admit I had a difficult time fitting the passing lights. Since I was using the visors on original passing lights I already had the new outer light rings. Because there is no mention of what light rings you have to use in the instructions I thought it best to use the original rings. Once installed I didn't like the gap between them and the lens. Figured water would get in there when riding in the rain. I also couldn't get the visors in. I then tried the new light rings but as noted there are no guide tabs with these for the spacers and very awkward to get everything lined up and in place while to tighten the light ring. I finally got the lights in but couldn't get the visors to fit on. Frustrated, I took a break and went back at it. This time I took my time using the new light rings, spacers and got the visors in. They look great as far as I am concerned. No spaces between lens and rings and I think the visors make them. There were absolutely no installation instructions included with the LED's I rec'd.
From looking at the lights with the original light rings I think it is best to get part #68775-93TA light rings even if you're not using the visors.

A quick question about the headlamp trim ring. Is it the same as the Contoured headlamp trim ring found on page 667 item G part # 69604-03 of the 2011 HD parts and accessories catalog? I have the eagle wing lamp visors on all lights and would hate to have to give them up to use this headlight. The passing lamps shouldn't be a problem as I have the new light rings. THX
