I've done this the last 3 years. Points are for a CITY/TOWN/VILLAGE/COUNTY/STATE or COUNTRY - not neighborhoods.
A gov. building is a city/town hall - fire or police station - US post office or public works building.

All my county points were in front of a county sheriff office or county jail. I know some people use the county sign posted on a highway, but I consider that cheating even though it is correct for a point.
As far as I know there is no such thing as a "county" post office - just city/town post office.

Last year I got 97 points. Normally I get 80 just enough for all the prizes. You will need at least 150 points to get any of the top 3 awards.

It's all about riding and having fun discovering new places that you probably wouldn't go to if not for the challenge - getting prizes is just a secondary benefit.

 

I would really like to access the HOG site, but for some reason it won't sign me in. But it doesn't give me any errors either...not sure what the hell is going on.

My chapter started something similar this year so that's 2 silly things that's taking up my time this year. I've visited places I would never have gone to otherwise.

I guess it's not as much fun as riding from bar to bar - that's way more fun(TFIC).

Wait till you get a load of geomancing.
