Does it matter with the calipers if they came off of a bike with abs

Either will work as long as you run a 08+ rotor, and depending on the wheel you may have to shim it a little bit, but it will work.

I did the conversion on my 07 Road King police. It's been one of the best mods I've done on my bike, but I'm pretty sure a big part of the increased braking is simply from the larger master cylinder. It's a direct bolt on, and a simple mod. You'll want to also change out the left side clutch perch so your levers match.

I wonder if I can do the mod with my 2001 FLHTC. My brakes, rotors and wheels look exactly like the 2007 Bike?

A larger diameter piston in the master cylinder will move more fluid= less lever movement before going hard
A smaller piston will move less fluid=more lever travel but also more feel

The amount of lever travel is a personal preference and should have no affect on braking power provided the piston is large enough to move the required amount of fluid.

The physical size of the masterc ylinder has no effect.
