Sounds like you already made up your mind, why are you still visiting this thread and debating? Seems pointless and some what childish. ./shrug

Was in same boat. So I picked up another zx12r for $4,000. Cheaper than a new one and satisfies my need for speed and canyon carving. Good luck.
I still love my 07 SG, but I have to admit the Kawasaki zx12 puts a grin on my face just looking at it. Even my wife says" can't you stop grinning ", nope!

Best of luck to you Hoblick. I faced the same issues with my Limited, and replaced it with a BMW R1200RT (take delivery tomorrow). Don't sweat the heat from all the brand loyalists, they don't get that it's about the ride, not the name on the tank.

Hope it works out well for you, the Multi is a great machine.

2 ( or 3 or 4) bikes is the way to go.

You can go buy a used sport bike for reasonable money and have the best of both worlds.

I have the FLHTPI for comfort, and 2 Kawasaki's for when I want to go blasting into triple digits, and even then the 2 rice bikes are different types of rides. I have a bike for every need, and I don't have a ton of money into them. My 3 bikes cost me less than 20 grand, not including modifications.
