My wife rides a Honda 750 and is inexperienced. She is very cautious, but I do worry about her reaction to a situation that would require max brake or a swerve. To give her the maximum edge I put a headlight modulator on her bike. Some may think it's a little 'dorky' looking, but it works, drivers can't help but notice it if they look at all. It's particularly obnoxious in the rear view mirror, but I consider that a plus. I might get one for my FXD just to **** off everyone in front of me!

One of the last times I confronted someone who violated my right of way was an incident where a woman made a right turn across 2 lanes into my lane. I had to swerve into the next lane to avoid impact. I was beside her at the next light, so I looked at her and said "WTF, didn't you see I was already in that lane?"
She replied, "Of course I saw you. I thought you'd be smart enough to get out of my way since my car is bigger than your motorcycle."
I thought for a second and replied "thanks for the honesty, but I hope you don't kill someone." There may have been an expletive or two. Then I just motored on...

yep thats the way people drive. Mines bigger than yours. And when it comes to a truck Oh he will stop or let me go.
