Not much:

Smoked turn lenses
Smooth timer cover
Pushbutton fuel door release
Short antenna
Streamliner shift pegs
Headlamp bezel
HD aircleaner cover
Removable backrest

Removed tank badges

I got the SG because I liked the stripped down look. Putting a bunch of stuff on it kind of defeats the purpose of owning it in the first place, IMO.
Nice looking bike Tech2. I agree completely. I pretty much liked my SG out of the box. Windshield was a must for the longer trips.

Tech2,

What process did you use to remove the tank badges without damaging the finish?

Dan
I used a can of something called PRO-1, or something like that, that one of the wrenches gave me at the dealer. It loosened the 3M tape really well, then wiped the residue right off. Then I waxed the tanks. You could never tell the emblems were on there. The guy said they use the stuff to clean up "oopses" all the time. I did break one of the plastic tank emblems taking it off, though. That was my fault for being in a hurry.

I, like most, have not done much for add-ons, short antenna, oil cooler, and oil temp gauge.

However, this winter I am:
-Making a custom set of forged wheels, 21" up front, 18" in back.
-Making a custom set of brake rotors up front - matching the wheels.
-Making hubs for wheels above
-Making a custom derby cover out of billet aluminum that matches my tattoo of a bulldog.
-Making a custom air cleaner cover out of billet aluminum that also matches my tattoo of a bulldog.

Next year:
95" motor work - heads, cam, etc. (do work myself)

I'll post pics of the custom work when completed.

Thanks. It's pretty much stock, but I like it that way. The only thing I may change at some point is the wheels. If I do, I'll probably look at some black ones.

It was a bit of a pain, mainly because I worked slowly to prevent any disasters.

I used the dental floss method. Grabbed a piece of floss, inserted it between the tank and badge, and "sawed" my way to the center of the badge, then started from the other side to the center again. I put a piece of masking tape across the center of the badge (vertically) to make sure it wouldn't move or fall off while I was "flossing". When there was a very small amount of the foam tape still left holding the badge at the center, I gently grabbed the ends of the badge and pulled it away from the tank.

Once I got the badges off I found quite q bit of the foam tape was still on the tank. I carefully peeled off as much as I could by hand, and used WD40 to remove the rest. Followed up with a coat of wax, of course.

i just pulled mine off with steady pressure with my fingers...then used my thumb to roll the excess tape off...took about 5 mins with no disasters

Did mine up this way because I wanted a cleaner custom looking touring bike without all the rails and fender lights etc. For me it's a highway thing rather than a boulevard cruiser.

Chopped Tour Pack - 30 seconds to take off or on.
Passing Lamps - to be seen better.
Smoked signal lenses
Sundowner seat - will never go back to stock though might consider a solo at some point
8" Fastaire smoked windshield and chrome windshield moulding
Stealth Handgrips
Chrome radio bezel and speaker trim
Streamliner shifter peg

This winter:
Color matched hard fairing lowers
Maybe new 18/18 or 21/18 wheels if I can find the right ones at a price I can handle

Stainless front brake rotors
Smoked turn-signal covers (front and rear)
Auxiliary lighting bracket and lights to match head lite

High flow K & N air filter

What did you add and why?
Sundowner seat (for riding solo) - comfort
Comfort Stitch seat (for riding with SO on back) - SO's comfort
Passenger backrest - so SO doesn't fall off back of bike
Floating Rotors - stop squealing brakes and improve braking
Streamliner passenger footpeg kit - SO's comfort
Cruise control - less strain on wrist for long-distance
Stage 1/SERT - bike runs too lean/hot without them
Air shock pump - to fine tune air pressure for single/two-up riding
H-D 6.5" smoked windshield - stock windshield doesn't give enough protection from buffeting.
Bike cover w/o logo - keep birdshit, rain, whatever off the bike

Possible future additions:
Chrome lowers - aluminum forks are getting pitted from salt air/gravel
