use what u were using ,nothing wrong with it.wouldnt hurt to go heavier on the gear lube in a warm climate.

I use Dino oil VR1 50w in the Engine cause it works for me,and it's my bike !
Redline Shockproof in the Trans.
HD Primary in the Primary.
Do some homework yourself and find out whats best for you !

In the 4 years, 48k miles, and probably 10 oil changes,
I have used 4 different quality oils and not noticed any difference.
I use a synthetic oil and change approx 5k mile intervals.

Mobil 1 V-Twin change every 5K but changing it is the most important part!

I like Reline oils but you can stick with the Mobil 1 if that's what you have been using. Dont run gear oil in your primary though. Put the gear oil in your trans. I like ATF in the primary but everyone is different.

Napa has 15W50 full SYn for $4.99/qt
Formula Plus in the tranny or 75W90 or 75W140 in heat
Formula plus in the primary.....
Most important part is actually changing it.
