I'd be interested in finding out from the Dealer why the bike was traded in? Whoever had that bike before put a ton of money into it. If the Dealer did all the work on the bike then he should be able to so you the Service Records with previous owners name blanked out.

After looking at the pic of that SE, it would be a hard choice, I honestly don't know, it depends on how you ride, how handy you are, and what you want, I'm kind of leaning toward that SE and Sta Bo, lol.

The '12 RKC will depreciate more than the '08 CVO in the next 2 years. Try and find out all the history on the '08. If it's favorable, and dealer willing to give you at least a 1 year warranty, go with the '08 CVO. If the '08 already had engine mods done and tuned properly it's money saved.

You really need to do some research on the 07 & 08 engines. I have had friends that had nothing but trouble with the 110. Engines had problems with cylinders moving, head gasket failures, etc. Look it up and reach your own conclusion.

Harley originally called it a head gasket problem, but this was not exactly accurate. There is much information available on this, but don't buy someone else's problem.

Yes, even road an 08 SE Ultra when it started to go... 3x the motor went back to the factory...

Didnt the 08 SERK have the 09 frame with the 08 swingarm? I remember seeing an 08 SERK and it had 4 mounts.

I would go the SERK assuming the engine is sorted. The issues mentioned above with the engine should be sorted by now surely? How many miles on the bike?

The 09 frame is better but still not perfect, mine still wobbles at high speed and I have just fitted a tru-track to try to sort it out.

The SERK is just a great looking thing, with a set of cams it will be more than fast enough for most people. I would choose it over a stock 2012, but then what were you planning on doing to your 2012?

Man that SERK is one nice looking bike. I would love to have that 110 motor. I have put a lot of money on my 2010 to get it to run better. You have a tough decision. I love that color combination on the SERK.

The 2012 in a heartbeat because the 08 CVO engine is junk.
