Looks like it's a pledge thing.. for me too.
I've thought about the painted inner fairing thing too, but would have to paint the hog pod too, more PIA..

Turtle wax liquid ice. Use it on the whole bike. Works better than anything I've tried.

Painted mine but you still have to keep it clean...

If you can, paint it. I wil hopefully do mine soon.

If not then I used just armorall wipes and it actually brought a good shine for it and lasted. You could use that back to black type stuff and renew it that way. I use it on my car. Also on the SUV rear bumper on top is that plastic cover, I use tire shine and works really good. should do the same

I cleaned my inner faring then masked it off and spayed it with a can of semi gloss black plastic paint. It looks like new and has been holding up well. Cost $7.

Try Honda Spray Polish and Cleaner,worked for me before I had it painted !
