Gerbling glove liners ?

I've been looking at the liners for some time. Got a pair of the G3's which keep your hands warm and toasty. However, I feel like I lost the feel for the throttle and clutch and stopped wearing them. Most of the time I'm wearing a nylon glove liner under a pair of work gloves for cold weather riding. The heated grips on the Limited help too.
My wife and I ride most of the year (she's on her own bike) and she's going to get a pair of the heated pants this week - giving up on chaps after 10 years. I'm thinking about springing for the liners and will try with and without an outer glove depending on how cold it is.

I have the heated glove liners. They work great. I have had them for 2 years and have used them down to the 20's. I also have the jacket liner and they plug into the liner just like the gloves do. I use the dual controller ( and recommend it). Advantage off the liners is you use your own gloves. If you don't have the jacket liner you use a wire harness that goes under your jacket. I got my glove liners before I gt the jacket liner. I ride a ton more than most of my friends in the winter because of the heated gear. One of the best gear decisions I have ever made.

I have had the liners and thermostat for years. I use the glove liners with a pair of unlined leather gloves (Joe Rocket waterproof ones if I remember correctly). The end result is a very thin glove and liner and with the thermostat, I can crank it up all the way, then turn it down somewhat when my fingers get toasty. The great thing about the old Gerbing liners is that they have the heat wire on top of every finger. They work!!!!

I've worn the glove liners down to as low as 18°F and they work just fine. Realize that they are NOT intended to be worn without an outer glove over top of them. Gerbing specifically warns against that.
Having said that, I'll tell you that I don't like the glove liners. Once you put outer gloves over top of them, they become too bulky and make operation of the hand controls on the bike difficult. That's why I replaced my glove liners with G3s. They are much better than working with the glove liners IMHO.
