Harley Dealer Sold me 30 WT Fork Oil!
#31
I have my RK at the dealer right now to finish installing extended shift pedal and tour pack lock. Im about 460# and noticed a fair amount of front end bounce at final braking. No bottoming and the ride is not bad but they reccommended going to a pretty heavy fork oil. Not sure what weight it is but after I get the bike back will update on how it rides. Also bringing the air pressure up to 40 or so in the rear shocks to see how that rides. I thought my gun hobby was a hole in my wallet but Harley has so many accessories and options....

yeah, but that 7.5 has absolutely nothing to do with the ride. it is only for lubricating the monotubes. there's only 5oz in each leg, too.

Dealer changed my fork oil to Screaming Eagle Heavy weight and brought the rear shocks up to 40#, ride is much improved. No more nose dive coming to a stop and just more comfortable for me. I have no idea of the actual weight of the oil, I tried a google on the part number but the response was non specific. I'm guessing at least 20#.
