I'm thinking about replacing the nonworking heated grips with Kuryakyn ISO grips. Does anybody know if the wires have to be pulled out of the handlebars if I go this route? I was really hoping not to have to go to all that trouble.
I would'nt Get the Kury ISO grips if I were You. I tried Them on My 08 UC. The throttle side fit was very loose and sloppy. Thought I got the wrong grips, so I called Customer Service, and was told to push the grip tighter against the housing, which did'nt work. Called them back and then they said the grips were made to fit several different models, and there was nothing they could do. I then went with the HD Get a grip, which was a great fit. Kury ISO grips do not fit well with TBW.
